    “Your Lord would never destroy towns unjustly while their people were reformers.”

  1. History Reciting the Verse
    Listen carefully — history has been pronouncing وَإِنْ عُدتُّمْ عُدْنَا in every century:
    🔹 The Mongols devastated the Muslim world (1258 — fall of Baghdad). They returned with further campaigns. Allah’s عُدْنَا came — they became Muslim, absorbed into the Ummah they sought to destroy.
    🔹 The Crusaders returned wave after wave to the Holy Land. Allah’s عُدْنَا came through Salahuddin Al-Ayyubi رحمه الله (1187) and finally through the Mamluks.
    🔹 The British crushed the 1857 uprising and returned with intensified colonization. Allah’s عُدْنَا came — 1947. An empire on which the sun never set — dissolved within a generation.
    🔹 The French returned to Algeria with 500,000 troops after the 1945 Sétif massacre. Allah’s عُدْنَا came — 1962. Algeria free. France humiliated.
    🔹 The Soviets entered Afghanistan 1979. Returned with full military force. Allah’s عُدْنَا came — 1989. A superpower broken. The USSR itself dissolved two years later.
    🔹 The Americans entered Afghanistan 2001. Returned with the most powerful military in history. Allah’s عُدْنَا came — 2021. Twenty years. Trillions of dollars. They left as they came — defeated.
    وَتِلْكَ الْأَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ
    “And these days — We alternate them among people.”
    — Surah Āl-Imrān (3:140)
  2. Gaza — The Verse Being Written Now
    The world watches Gaza and asks: where is divine justice?
    The Quran answers — it is on its way. The pattern has never broken. Not once in fourteen centuries.
    وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللهَ غَٰفِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّٰلِمُونَ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَٰرُ
    “Do not think Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them until a Day when eyes will stare in horror.”
    — Surah Ibrāhīm (14:42)
    وَإِنْ عُدتُّمْ عُدْنَا is not silent on Gaza. It is being written — in the language of Sunnatullah — with ink that history has never seen fail.
  3. The Warning to the Muslim Ummah
    The verse is also a mirror held to us. If Muslim nations return to:
    ∙ Division over unity
    ∙ Rulers serving oppressors over serving their people
    ∙ Wealth accumulation over justice
    ∙ Heedlessness over remembrance of Allah
    Then عُدْنَا applies to us too — as it did during colonization. The door of mercy is always open. But the law is always running.
    إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ
    “Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.”
    — Surah Al-Ra’d (13:11)
  4. The Mercy That Frames the Law
    We must not forget — the verse begins with mercy:
    عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يَرْحَمَكُمْ
    “It may be that your Lord will have mercy on you.”
    عَسَىٰ from Allah ﷻ is not mere possibility — the scholars of tafsir note it carries near-certainty when it comes from the Most Merciful. The door of return — tawbah — is always wider than the door of punishment.
    The law of وَإِنْ عُدتُّمْ عُدْنَا is not a curse. It is a compass — showing every people, in every age, exactly where they stand and exactly what is available to them.
    Return to Allah — and Allah returns to you.
  5. Four Words That Contain Everything

Word Meaning The Depth وَإِنْ And if Conditional — the choice is always yours عُدتُّمْ You return To corruption, oppression, or sin عُدْنَا We will return Divine response — certain, proportional, inevitable — Silence after The weight of what is left unsaid

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ — four words. Fourteen centuries. Still unfolding. Still warning. Still offering mercy.

وَإِنْ عُدتُّمْ عُدْنَا
“اور اگر تم لوٹے، تو ہم بھی لوٹیں گے”
چار الفاظ۔ چودہ صدیاں۔ ابھی بھی جاری۔
— سورۃ الإسراء (17:8)

۱. آیت کا مکمل تناظر
عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يَرْحَمَكُمْ ۚ وَإِنْ عُدتُّمْ عُدْنَا
“شاید تمہارا رب تم پر رحم فرمائے۔ لیکن اگر تم پھر لوٹے تو ہم بھی لوٹیں گے۔”
— سورۃ الإسراء (17:8)
اس آیت کا الٰہی نظم دیکھیں:
∙ رحمت سے آغاز — “شاید تمہارا رب رحم فرمائے”
∙ قانون کا اعلان — “اگر تم لوٹے تو ہم بھی لوٹیں گے”
∙ انجام پر اختتام — “ہم نے جہنم کو کافروں کا قید خانہ بنا دیا ہے”
رحمت ہمیشہ پہلے پیش کی جاتی ہے۔ قانون تبھی حرکت میں آتا ہے جب رحمت کو ٹھکرا دیا جائے۔

۲. تاریخ اس آیت کو دہراتی رہی
🔹 مغلوں نے مسلم دنیا کو تباہ کیا (1258ء — بغداد کا سقوط)۔ اللہ کا عُدْنَا آیا — وہ خود مسلمان ہو گئے۔
🔹 صلیبی بار بار بیت المقدس پر حملہ آور ہوئے۔ اللہ کا عُدْنَا آیا — صلاح الدین ایوبی رحمه الله (1187ء)۔
🔹 انگریزوں نے 1857ء کی جنگِ آزادی کچلی اور واپس آئے۔ اللہ کا عُدْنَا آیا — 1947ء۔ وہ سلطنت جس پر سورج غروب نہیں ہوتا تھا — ایک نسل میں بکھر گئی۔
🔹 فرانسیسی 5 لاکھ فوج لے کر الجزائر لوٹے۔ اللہ کا عُدْنَا آیا — 1962ء۔ الجزائر آزاد۔ فرانس شرمسار۔
🔹 سوویت 1979ء میں افغانستان میں داخل ہوئے۔ اللہ کا عُدْنَا آیا — 1989ء۔ سوویت یونین خود 1991ء میں ٹوٹ گیا۔
🔹 امریکہ 2001ء میں افغانستان آیا۔ بیس سال۔ کھربوں ڈالر۔ اللہ کا عُدْنَا آیا — 2021ء۔ جیسے آئے تھے، ویسے گئے — شکست خوردہ۔

۳. غزہ — یہ آیت ابھی لکھی جا رہی ہے
دنیا غزہ دیکھ کر پوچھتی ہے: انصافِ الٰہی کہاں ہے؟
قرآن جواب دیتا ہے — وہ راستے میں ہے۔ یہ نمونہ کبھی نہیں ٹوٹا۔ چودہ صدیوں میں ایک بار بھی نہیں۔
إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَٰرُ
“وہ تو انہیں اس دن تک مہلت دے رہا ہے جب آنکھیں پھٹی کی پھٹی رہ جائیں گی۔”
— سورۃ ابراہیم (14:42)

۴. امتِ مسلمہ کے لیے آئینہ
یہ آیت ہمارے لیے بھی آئینہ ہے۔ اگر مسلمان لوٹتے ہیں:
∙ اتحاد کی بجائے تفرقے کی طرف
∙ اپنے عوام کی بجائے ظالموں کی خدمت کی طرف
∙ اللہ کی یاد سے غفلت کی طرف
تو عُدْنَا ہم پر بھی لاگو ہوتا ہے — جیسے نوآبادیاتی دور میں ہوا۔
إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ
“بے شک اللہ کسی قوم کی حالت نہیں بدلتا جب تک وہ خود اپنی حالت نہ بدلیں۔”
— سورۃ الرعد (13:11)

۵. وہ رحمت جو قانون کا احاطہ کرتی ہے
آیت رحمت سے شروع ہوتی ہے:
عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يَرْحَمَكُمْ
“شاید تمہارا رب تم پر رحم فرمائے۔”
مفسرین فرماتے ہیں کہ اللہ کی طرف سے عَسَىٰ تقریباً یقین کی علامت ہے۔ توبہ کا دروازہ ہمیشہ عذاب کے دروازے سے زیادہ کھلا ہے۔
اللہ کی طرف لوٹو — اللہ تمہاری طرف لوٹتا ہے۔

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ — چار الفاظ۔ چودہ صدیاں۔ ابھی بھی جاری۔ ابھی بھی خبردار کر رہے ہیں۔ ابھی بھی رحمت پیش کر رہے ہیں۔

“और अगर तुम लौटे, तो हम भी लौटेंगे”

१. आयत का पूर्ण संदर्भ
عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يَرْحَمَكُمْ ۚ وَإِنْ عُدتُّمْ عُدْنَا
“संभव है कि तुम्हारा रब तुम पर दया करे। लेकिन अगर तुम लौटे तो हम भी लौटेंगे।”
— सूरह अल-इसरा (17:8)
इस आयत की दिव्य संरचना देखें:
∙ दया से आरंभ — “संभव है तुम्हारा रब दया करे”
∙ नियम की घोषणा — “अगर तुम लौटे तो हम भी लौटेंगे”
∙ परिणाम पर समाप्ति — “हमने जहन्नम को काफ़िरों की जेल बनाया है”
दया हमेशा पहले प्रस्तुत की जाती है। नियम तभी सक्रिय होता है जब दया को ठुकरा दिया जाए।

२. इतिहास इस आयत को दोहराता रहा
🔹 मंगोलों ने मुस्लिम दुनिया को तबाह किया (1258 — बग़दाद का पतन)। अल्लाह का عُدْنَا आया — वे स्वयं मुसलमान हो गए।
🔹 सलाहुद्दीन अय्यूबी रहमतुल्लाह अलैह के ज़रिए अल्लाह का عُدْنَا आया (1187) — बैतुल मक़दिस आज़ाद हुआ।
🔹 अंग्रेज़ 1857 की क्रांति को कुचलकर लौटे। अल्लाह का عُدْنَا आया — 1947। वह साम्राज्य जिसमें सूरज नहीं डूबता था — एक पीढ़ी में बिखर गया।
🔹 फ्रांसीसी 5 लाख सैनिकों के साथ अल्जीरिया लौटे। अल्लाह का عُدْنَا आया — 1962। अल्जीरिया आज़ाद। फ्रांस शर्मिंदा।
🔹 सोवियत 1979 में अफ़ग़ानिस्तान में घुसे। अल्लाह का عُدْنَا आया — 1989। सोवियत संघ 1991 में स्वयं टूट गया।
🔹 अमेरिका 2001 में अफ़ग़ानिस्तान आया। बीस साल। खरबों डॉलर। अल्लाह का عُدْنَا आया — 2021। जैसे आए थे, वैसे गए — पराजित।

३. ग़ज़ा — यह आयत अभी लिखी जा रही है
दुनिया ग़ज़ा देखकर पूछती है: ईश्वरीय न्याय कहाँ है?
क़ुरआन जवाब देता है — वह रास्ते में है। यह पैटर्न कभी नहीं टूटा। चौदह सदियों में एक बार भी नहीं।
إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَٰرُ
“वह तो उन्हें उस दिन तक मोहलत दे रहा है जब आँखें फटी की फटी रह जाएंगी।”
— सूरह इब्राहीम (14:42)

४. मुस्लिम उम्मह के लिए आईना
यह आयत हमारे लिए भी आईना है। अगर मुसलमान लौटते हैं:
∙ एकता की बजाय फूट की तरफ़
∙ अपने लोगों की बजाय ज़ालिमों की सेवा की तरफ़
∙ अल्लाह की याद से ग़फ़लत की तरफ़
तो عُدْنَا हम पर भी लागू होता है — जैसे औपनिवेशिक काल में हुआ।
إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ
“बेशक अल्लाह किसी क़ौम की हालत नहीं बदलता जब तक वे ख़ुद अपनी हालत न बदलें।”
— सूरह अर-रअद (13:11)

५. वह दया जो नियम को घेरती है
आयत दया से शुरू होती है:
عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يَرْحَمَكُمْ
“संभव है तुम्हारा रब तुम पर दया करे।”
मुफ़स्सिरीन कहते हैं कि अल्लाह की तरफ़ से عَسَىٰ लगभग यक़ीन की निशानी है। तौबह का दरवाज़ा हमेशा अज़ाब के दरवाज़े से ज़्यादा खुला है।
अल्लाह की तरफ़ लौटो — अल्लाह तुम्हारी तरफ़ लौटता है।

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ — चार शब्द। चौदह सदियाँ। अभी भी जारी। अभी भी चेतावनी दे रहे हैं। अभी भी दया प्रस्तुत कर रहे हैं।

اللهم اجعلنا ممن يستمعون القول فيتبعون أحسنه۔ وارحم أمة محمد ﷺ في مشارق الأرض ومغاربها۔ آمِيْن يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْن
یا اللہ! ہمیں ان لوگوں میں شامل فرما جو بات سنتے ہیں اور بہترین بات کی پیروی کرتے ہیں۔ اور امتِ محمد ﷺ پر رحم فرما — مشرق سے مغرب تک۔ آمین یا رب العالمین
या अल्लाह! हमें उन लोगों में शामिल कर जो बात सुनते हैं और बेहतरीन बात का अनुसरण करते हैं। और उम्मत-ए-मुहम्मद ﷺ पर रहम फ़रमा — मशरिक़ से मग़रिब तक। आमीन या रब्बल आलमीन

کوئی بھی تہذیب اللہ کے حساب سے مستثنیٰ نہیں

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
یہاں سورۃ الإسراء (١٧:٥٨) پیش کی جا رہی ہے —
عربی:
وَإِن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا نَحْنُ مُهْلِكُوهَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُوهَا عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا ۚ كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَسْطُورًا
ترجمہ (مودودی — تفہیم القرآن):
“کوئی بستی ایسی نہیں ہے جسے ہم قیامت سے پہلے ہلاک نہ کر دیں یا اسے سخت عذاب نہ دیں۔ یہ کتاب میں لکھا ہوا ہے۔”
ترجمہ (صحیح انٹرنیشنل):
“اور کوئی بستی ایسی نہیں مگر یہ کہ ہم اسے قیامت سے پہلے ہلاک کر دیں گے یا اسے سخت عذاب دیں گے۔ یہ کتاب میں لکھا ہوا ہے۔”
مختصر تفسیری نوٹس:
∙ “کوئی بستی نہیں” — یہ اللہ کا ایک آفاقی فیصلہ ہے (سنت اللہ) — ہر انسانی آبادی قیامت سے پہلے اللہ کے فیصلے کے تابع ہے، خواہ ہلاکت کے ذریعے ہو یا شدید عذاب کے ذریعے۔
∙ “قیامت سے پہلے” — یہ عذاب اس دنیا (دُنْيَا) میں آتا ہے، بطورِ آخری حساب کی پیشگی جھلک۔
∙ “کتاب میں لکھا ہوا ہے” — یہ لوحِ محفوظ (اللَّوْحُ الْمَحْفُوظُ) کی طرف اشارہ ہے، جو اس بات کی دلیل ہے کہ اللہ کا کوئی فیصلہ بے بنیاد نہیں — یہ پہلے سے طے شدہ حکمت ہے۔
∙ یہ آیت مترفین، سرکشی اور تہذیبی زوال سے متعلق ایک وسیع تر گفتگو کا حصہ ہے — اور ١٧:١٦ کے موضوعات کا براہِ راست تسلسل ہے۔
یہ آیت سنت اللہ کے فریم ورک کی ایک مضبوط بنیاد ہے — کوئی بھی تہذیب اللہ کے حساب سے مستثنیٰ نہیں۔؟

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

I. مکمل تباہی — قرآنی مثالیں (إِهْلَاك تَامّ)
یہ وہ قومیں ہیں جنہیں اللہ نے مکمل طور پر نیست و نابود کر دیا — طاقت کا کوئی نشان باقی نہ رہا:

١. قومِ نوح — نوح عليه السلام کی قوم
قرآن: “اور ہم نے انہیں غرق کر دیا جنہوں نے ہماری نشانیوں کو جھٹلایا۔ بے شک وہ اندھے لوگ تھے۔” (٧:٦٤)
∙ جرم: کفر، تکبر، ساڑھے نو سو سال تک نبی کا مذاق
∙ عذاب: عالمگیر طوفان — پوری تہذیب کا صفایا
∙ سبق: ساڑھے نو سو سال کے صبر کی بھی ایک آخری حد ہوتی ہے

٢. قومِ عاد — ہود عليه السلام کی قوم
قرآن: “پس ہم نے ان پر سات رات اور آٹھ دن تک ایک چیختی ہوئی آندھی بھیجی…” (٦٩:٦-٧)
∙ جرم: غرور اور طاقت کا نشہ — “ہم سے زیادہ طاقتور کون ہے؟” (٤١:١٥)
∙ عذاب: ایسی آندھی جس نے انہیں “کھجور کے کھوکھلے تنوں کی طرح” گرا دیا (٦٩:٧)
∙ سبق: اللہ کے حکم کے سامنے فوجی اور جسمانی برتری کچھ کام نہیں آتی

٣. قومِ ثمود — صالح عليه السلام کی قوم
قرآن: “پس انہیں کڑک نے آ پکڑا اور وہ دیکھتے ہی رہ گئے۔” (٥١:٤٤)
∙ جرم: اونٹنی کی کونچیں کاٹ دیں — آخری حد پار کر دی
∙ عذاب: صیحہ — ایک آسمانی چیخ نے سب کو ختم کر دیا
∙ سبق: قوموں کو نشانیاں دی جاتی ہیں؛ جب وہ نشانی کو مٹاتے ہیں تو اپنا انجام خود لکھ لیتے ہیں

٤. قومِ لوط — لوط عليه السلام کی قوم
قرآن: “اور ہم نے ان پر پتھروں کی بارش برسائی۔ دیکھو مجرموں کا انجام کیسا ہوا۔” (٧:٨٤)
∙ جرم: جنسی بے راہ روی، اخلاقی نظام کا انکار
∙ عذاب: بستیاں الٹ دی گئیں، پتھروں کی بارش ہوئی
∙ تاریخی نوٹ: بحیرہ مردار کا علاقہ — جو زمین کا سب سے نچلا مقام ہے — گویا زمین کو ہی دھنسا دیا گیا

٥. قومِ شعیب — مدین — شعیب عليه السلام کی قوم
قرآن: “پس انہیں زلزلے نے آ پکڑا اور وہ اپنے گھروں میں اوندھے پڑے رہ گئے۔” (٧:٩١)
∙ جرم: معاشی بدعنوانی، ناپ تول میں کمی — تہذیبی فساد
∙ عذاب: زلزلہ اور سائے کے دن کا عذاب (٢٦:١٨٩)

II. جزوی / شدید عذاب — قرآنی مثالیں (عَذَاب شَدِيد)
یہ تہذیبیں مکمل طور پر ختم نہیں ہوئیں لیکن تباہ کن زوال کا شکار ہوئیں:

١. فرعون اور اس کی سلطنت
قرآن: “پس ہم نے اسے اور اس کے لشکر کو سمندر میں پھینک دیا۔ دیکھو ظالموں کا انجام کیسا ہوا۔” (٢٨:٤٠)
∙ جرم: “میں تمہارا سب سے بڑا رب ہوں” (٧٩:٢٤) — انتہائی جبر اور بچوں کا قتلِ عام
∙ عذاب: بحیرہ احمر میں غرق — اس کی لاش نشانی کے طور پر محفوظ کی گئی (١٠:٩٢)
∙ جزوی: مصری تہذیب جاری رہی لیکن فرعونی طاقت ہمیشہ کے لیے ٹوٹ گئی
∙ سبق: زمین کا سب سے طاقتور انسان اسی پانی میں ڈوب گیا جسے وہ اپنے قابو میں سمجھتا تھا

٢. قارون — وہ اولیگارک
قرآن: “پس ہم نے اسے اور اس کے گھر کو زمین میں دھنسا دیا۔” (٢٨:٨١)
∙ جرم: دولت کا غرور — “یہ مال مجھے میرے علم کی وجہ سے ملا ہے”
∙ عذاب: زمین نے نگل لیا — محلات، خزانے، سب کچھ ختم
∙ سبق: شکر اور انصاف کے بغیر دولت تباہی کا راستہ ہے

٣. بنی اسرائیل — متعدد چکر
قرآن (١٧:٤-٧): دو بار فساد کی پیشگوئی — آشوری/بابلی تباہی (پہلی بار) اور رومی تباہی (دوسری بار)
∙ جرم: بار بار عہد شکنی، انبیاء کا قتل، سرکشی
∙ عذاب: پہلے بخت نصر، پھر ٧٠ عیسوی میں یروشلم کی رومی تباہی
∙ جزوی: قوم بچ گئی لیکن سلطنت اور بیت المقدس برباد ہو گئے
∙ سبق: حتیٰ کہ برگزیدہ قوم بھی سنت اللہ سے مستثنیٰ نہیں

٤. اصحابِ فیل (١٠٥:١-٥)
∙ جرم: خانہ کعبہ کو مسمار کرنے کی کوشش
∙ عذاب: ابابیل پرندوں نے سنگریزوں سے پورے لشکر کو تباہ کیا
∙ تاریخی نوٹ: ابرہہ کی یمنی-حبشی فوج ٥٧٠ عیسوی میں — عامُ الفیل — سالِ ولادتِ نبی ﷺ

IV. حالیہ اور عصرِ حاضر — سبق جاری ہے
صرف پچھلے تیس سالوں میں:
سلوبودان میلوشوچ — بلقان نسل کشی کا معمار ← ہیگ کی اپنی جیل کی کوٹھری میں مر گیا (٢٠٠٦)، فیصلہ کبھی نہ سنا
چارلس ٹیلر (لائبیریا) — جنگی سردار، انسانیت سوز مظالم ← ہیگ میں ٥٠ سال قید
عمر البشیر (سوڈان) — عشروں کی آہنی حکومت ← اقتدار سے بے دخل، قید، آئی سی سی مقدمے کا انتظار
رابرٹ موگابے (زمبابوے) — ٣٧ سال تک “آزادی دلانے والا” جو آمر بن گیا ← اقتدار سے محروم، سنگاپور کے ہسپتال میں جلاوطنی کی موت
بن علی (تیونس)، مبارک (مصر)، صالح (یمن) — سب ٢٠١٠-١١ کی عرب بہار میں ہفتوں میں گر گئے — ایک ہی موسم نے عشروں کی آمریت کو بہا دیا

V. آج کی طاقتوں کے لیے قرآنی سبق
اللہ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ نے انتہائی واضح الفاظ میں فرمایا:
أَفَأَمِنَ أَهْلُ الْقُرَىٰ أَن يَأْتِيَهُم بَأْسُنَا بَيَاتًا وَهُمْ نَائِمُونَ
“کیا بستیوں کے لوگ اس سے بے خوف ہو گئے کہ ہمارا عذاب رات کو آئے جب وہ سو رہے ہوں؟” (٧:٩٧)
أَفَأَمِنُوا مَكْرَ اللَّهِ ۚ فَلَا يَأْمَنُ مَكْرَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ
“کیا وہ اللہ کی تدبیر سے بے خوف ہو گئے؟ اللہ کی تدبیر سے وہی لوگ بے خوف ہوتے ہیں جو گھاٹے میں ہیں۔” (٧:٩٩)

ابدی نمونہ — سنت اللہ عمل میں:

نعمت ← ناشکری ← تنبیہ (انبیاء/نشانیاں)
← انکار ← مہلت (استدراج) ← آخری فیصلہ ← تباہی

تاریخ کی ہر سلطنت اسی راستے پر چلی ہے۔ ایک بھی نہیں بچی۔

آج کی عالمی طاقتوں کے لیے — آئینہ بالکل صاف ہے:
🔲 فوجی برتری — عاد نے بھی یہی کہا تھا
🔲 معاشی غلبہ — قارون نے بھی یہی کہا تھا
🔲 سیاسی کنٹرول — فرعون نے بھی یہی کہا تھا
🔲 تکنیکی غرور — ہر ترقی یافتہ تہذیب نے پہلے یہی کہا
اقتدار کی کرسی تخت نہیں — یہ ایک امانت ہے۔ جب امانت میں خیانت ہو تو کرسی چھین لی جاتی ہے۔ کبھی آہستہ آہستہ۔ کبھی ایک ہی رات میں۔

“اور یہ بستیاں — ہم نے انہیں تباہ کیا جب انہوں نے ظلم کیا، اور ہم نے ان کی تباہی کے لیے ایک مقررہ وقت رکھا ہوا تھا۔” (١٨:٥٩)

ہلاک شدہ اقوام، پھلتے پھولتے کافروں اور مومنوں کی آزمائشوں کے پیچھے الٰہی حکمت
۱۰ اپریل ۲۰۲۶ — فار ون کریٹر
“غور و فکر کرنے والوں کے لیے نشانیاں —
سنّتِ اللہ، استدراج، اور ہلاک شدہ اقوام، پھلتے پھولتے کافروں اور مومنوں کی آزمائشوں کے پیچھے الٰہی حکمت”
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
جزاکم اللہ خیراً اس اصلاح کے لیے — یہ واقعی قرآنی مواد پیش کرنے کا سب سے خوبصورت اور مکمل طریقہ ہے۔ آئیے پوری جامع تحریر عربی اور انگریزی کو ساتھ ساتھ رکھتے ہوئے پیش کریں۔

I. سنّتِ اللہ — اللہ کے ناقابلِ تبدیل قوانین عربی اردو فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا ۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا “آپ اللہ کے طریقے میں کوئی تبدیلی نہیں پائیں گے، اور اللہ کے طریقے میں کوئی ردوبدل نہیں پائیں گے۔” (فاطر ۳۵:۴۳)

یہ وہ اصل کنجی ہے جس سے سب کچھ کھلتا ہے۔ ہر چیز — تباہی، بقا، نعمتیں، مصائب — ان طریقوں کے مطابق چلتی ہے جو اللہ نے مقرر کیے ہیں اور جن کی خلاف ورزی نہیں ہوتی۔

II. اقوام کی تین اقسام
🔴 قسم اول: مکمل طور پر تباہ شدہ اقوام
قومِ عاد — حضرت ہود علیہ السلام کی قوم عربی اردو وَفِي عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيحَ الْعَقِيمَ ۝ مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَيْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمِيمِ “اور عاد میں بھی نشانی ہے — جب ہم نے ان پر بے فائدہ آندھی بھیجی۔ جس چیز پر سے بھی وہ گزری، اسے بوسیدہ ریزوں کی طرح کر دیا۔” (الذاریات ۵۱:۴۱-۴۲)

قومِ لوط — حضرت لوط علیہ السلام کی قوم عربی اردو وَلَقَد تَّرَكْنَا مِنْهَا آيَةً بَيِّنَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ “اور ہم نے اس بستی میں عقل والوں کے لیے ایک واضح نشانی چھوڑی۔” (العنکبوت ۲۹:۳۵)

تمام تباہی کے پیچھے الٰہی اصول: عربی اردو وَمَا كُنَّا مُعَذِّبِينَ حَتَّىٰ نَبْعَثَ رَسُولًا “اور ہم کسی کو عذاب دینے والے نہ تھے جب تک کوئی رسول نہ بھیج لیں۔” (الاسراء ۱۷:۱۵)

🟡 قسم دوم: نشانی اور سبق کے طور پر باقی رہنے والی اقوام
ثمود اور دیگر اقوام کے کھنڈرات زندہ یادگاروں کی طرح کھڑے ہیں۔ اللہ ہمیں حکم دیتا ہے کہ سفر کریں اور دیکھیں: عربی اردو أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَأَثَارُوا الْأَرْضَ وَعَمَرُوهَا أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا عَمَرُوهَا “کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سفر نہیں کیا کہ دیکھتے کہ ان سے پہلے لوگوں کا کیا انجام ہوا؟ وہ ان سے بہت زیادہ طاقتور تھے اور انہوں نے زمین کو ان سے کہیں زیادہ آباد کیا تھا۔” (الروم ۳۰:۹) عربی اردو وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ “اللہ نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا، بلکہ وہ خود اپنے آپ پر ظلم کرتے تھے۔” (الروم ۳۰:۹)

🟢 قسم سوم: موجودہ دنیا — سب سے اہم سوال

III. استدراج — الاستدراج
تدریجی ہلاکت کی طرف کھینچنا
یہ وہ الٰہی طریقہ کار ہے جو آج کے پھلتے پھولتے کافروں پر حکمران ہے۔ دو آیات اسے لرزہ خیز وضاحت کے ساتھ بیان کرتی ہیں: عربی اردو وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ “اور جن لوگوں نے ہماری آیات کو جھٹلایا، ہم انہیں اس طرح آہستہ آہستہ کھینچیں گے کہ انہیں خبر بھی نہ ہو گی۔” (الاعراف ۷:۱۸۲) عربی اردو وَأُمْلِي لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ كَيْدِي مَتِينٌ “اور میں انہیں مہلت دیتا ہوں۔ بے شک میری تدبیر بہت مضبوط ہے۔” (الاعراف ۷:۱۸۳) عربی اردو فَذَرْنِي وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ بِهَٰذَا الْحَدِيثِ ۖ سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ “پس مجھے اور اس کلام کو جھٹلانے والوں کو چھوڑ دو۔ ہم انہیں ایسی جگہ سے آہستہ آہستہ کھینچیں گے جہاں سے انہیں خبر بھی نہ ہو گی۔” (القلم ۶۸:۴۴)

نبی کریم ﷺ نے بڑی وضاحت کے ساتھ فرمایا:
“جب تم دیکھو کہ اللہ کسی بندے کو دنیا کی وہ چیزیں دے رہا ہے جو اسے پسند ہیں، حالانکہ وہ گناہوں پر ڈٹا ہوا ہے، تو جان لو کہ یہ اللہ کی طرف سے استدراج ہے۔”

IV. اللہ آج تمام کافروں کو تباہ کیوں نہیں کرتا؟
حکمت ۱: اس امت کی موجودگی کا تحفظ عربی اردو وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنتَ فِيهِمْ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ “اور اللہ انہیں عذاب دینے والا نہ تھا جب تک آپ (اے محمد ﷺ) ان میں موجود تھے، اور نہ ہی اللہ انہیں عذاب دے گا جب تک وہ استغفار کرتے رہیں۔” (الانفال ۸:۳۳)

جب تک مومن استغفار کرتے رہتے ہیں، ان کے ارد گرد پوری انسانیت پر رحمت کا دروازہ کھلا رہتا ہے۔
حکمت ۲: دعوت ابھی سب تک نہیں پہنچی
الٰہی عدل کا تقاضا ہے کہ دنیاوی احتساب سے پہلے ہر روح کو واضح طور پر پیغام پہنچے۔
حکمت ۳: آج کے کافروں میں کل کے مومنوں کے والدین ہیں
آج کے کافروں میں وہ لوگ بھی ہیں جو آنے والے مومنوں کے والدین بنیں گے۔ اللہ کی رحمت ان نسلوں کو بھی گھیرے ہوئے ہے جو ابھی پیدا بھی نہیں ہوئیں۔
حکمت ۴: رزق ایک آفاقی حق ہے — منظوری کی علامت نہیں عربی اردو وَمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّهِ رِزْقُهَا “اور زمین میں کوئی چلنے والا نہیں مگر اس کا رزق اللہ کے ذمے ہے۔” (ہود ۱۱:۶) عربی اردو وَكَأَيِّن مِّن دَابَّةٍ لَّا تَحْمِلُ رِزْقَهَا اللَّهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ “اور کتنے ہی جاندار ہیں جو اپنا رزق اٹھائے نہیں پھرتے — اللہ انہیں بھی رزق دیتا ہے اور تمہیں بھی۔” (العنکبوت ۲۹:۶۰)

کافر کا رزق اس دنیا میں اس کا حق ہے — لیکن آخرت میں اس کا کوئی وزن نہیں۔
حکمت ۵: آخری عدالت یومُ القیامہ ہے عربی اردو إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ أَكَادُ أُخْفِيهَا لِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا تَسْعَىٰ “بے شک قیامت آنے والی ہے — میں اسے قریب قریب چھپا لیتا ہوں — تاکہ ہر نفس کو اس کی کوشش کا بدلہ دیا جائے۔” (طہ ۲۰:۱۵)

پہلی اقوام کے برعکس جنہیں دنیا میں ہی دنیاوی فیصلہ سنایا گیا، اس امت کا آخری حساب آخرت کے کامل عدل کے لیے محفوظ ہے۔

V. مومنوں کی نعمتوں اور مصائب کے چکر
قرآن کا براہِ راست جواب عربی اردو أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوا أَن يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ “کیا لوگوں نے یہ سمجھ رکھا ہے کہ وہ صرف یہ کہنے پر کہ ‘ہم ایمان لائے’ چھوڑ دیے جائیں گے اور انہیں آزمایا نہیں جائے گا؟” (العنکبوت ۲۹:۲) عربی اردو وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ “اور ہم ضرور تمہیں کچھ خوف، بھوک اور مال، جانوں اور پھلوں کی کمی سے آزمائیں گے — اور صبر کرنے والوں کو خوشخبری دے دیجیے۔” (البقرہ ۲:۱۵۵) عربی اردو الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ “وہ لوگ جن پر جب کوئی مصیبت آئے تو وہ کہتے ہیں: ‘بے شک ہم اللہ کے لیے ہیں اور بے شک ہم اسی کی طرف لوٹنے والے ہیں۔’” (البقرہ ۲:۱۵۶)

نبوی حکمت
“سب سے سخت آزمائش انبیاء کو ہوتی ہے، پھر جو ان کے سب سے زیادہ مشابہ ہوں، پھر جو ان کے بعد ہوں۔”
(ابن ماجہ — صحیح)
“سب سے بڑا اجر سب سے بڑی آزمائش کے ساتھ ہے۔ جب اللہ کسی قوم سے محبت کرتا ہے تو انہیں آزماتا ہے۔”
(ابن ماجہ — حسن)
مومنوں کی تکلیف کبھی سزا نہیں — یہ تطہیر اور بلندی ہے: عربی اردو مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلَا وَصَبٍ وَلَا هَمٍّ وَلَا حَزَنٍ وَلَا أَذًى وَلَا غَمٍّ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ “مسلمان کو جو بھی تھکاوٹ، بیماری، فکر، غم، تکلیف یا پریشانی پہنچتی ہے — حتی کہ کانٹا بھی چبھے — تو اللہ اس کے ذریعے اس کے گناہ معاف فرما دیتا ہے۔” (بخاری و مسلم)

VI. سورۃ الشرح — مکمل تسلی عربی اردو فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ۝ إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا “پس بے شک تنگی کے ساتھ آسانی ہے۔ بے شک تنگی کے ساتھ آسانی ہے۔” (الشرح ۹۴:۵-۶)

علماء نے نوٹ کیا: لفظ العُسر (تنگی) پر الف لام ہے — یعنی یہ ایک مخصوص تنگی ہے۔ لیکن یُسر (آسانی) بغیر الف لام کے ہے — یعنی آسانی غیر معین، متعدد اور لامحدود ہے۔ ایک تنگی، کئی آسانیاں۔

VII. آخری الٰہی ضمانت — ایک ذرہ بھی ضائع نہیں عربی اردو فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ ۝ وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ “پس جس نے ذرہ برابر بھلائی کی وہ اسے دیکھ لے گا۔ اور جس نے ذرہ برابر برائی کی وہ اسے دیکھ لے گا۔” (الزلزلہ ۹۹:۷-۸) عربی اردو وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ “اور بے شک اللہ اپنے بندوں پر ذرا بھی ظلم نہیں کرتا۔” (الانفال ۸:۵۱)

VIII. دیگر صحائف کی گواہی
تورات اور زبور میں یہی حیرت اور اس کا حل موجود ہے۔ زبور ۷۳ اسے بالکل درست انداز میں بیان کرتا ہے — زبور نگار ظالموں کو خوشحال، صحت مند اور بے فکر دیکھتا ہے اور الجھن میں پکار اٹھتا ہے — اس وقت تک جب تک وہ “اللہ کی پناہ گاہ میں داخل ہو کر ان کا انجام نہیں سمجھ لیتا” (زبور ۷۳:۱۷)۔ یہ حل آخرتی ہے — بالکل وہی جو قرآن سکھاتا ہے۔
ایوب کی کتاب ایمان والے کی آزمائش کا بائبلی ہم منصب ہے: ایک نیک انسان ہولناک نقصان کا شکار ہوتا ہے — سزا کے طور پر نہیں بلکہ بلندی کے طور پر — اور آخر میں بحال اور سرفراز ہوتا ہے۔ حکمت یہ ہے کہ تکلیف ترقی ہو سکتی ہے، تنزلی نہیں۔
بھگوت گیتا بھی پرارَبدھ کرما (پک چکے نتائج) اور سنچِت کرما (جمع شدہ حساب جو ابھی واجب نہیں ہوا) میں فرق کرتی ہے — یہ اس تصور کا ساختی متوازی ہے کہ الٰہی احتساب ہمیشہ فوری طور پر ظاہر نہیں ہوتا۔

عظیم ترکیب
جب پوری تصویر مجموعی طور پر دیکھی جائے تو اس کی ہم آہنگی دنگ کر دینے والی ہے: صورتحال الٰہی حقیقت اقوام کی مکمل تباہی تنبیہ مکمل، حساب طے، کھنڈرات سبق کے لیے باقی باقی ماندہ آثار زندہ گواہی، مومنوں کے لیے رحمت، آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے نشانی آج کے پھلتے پھولتے کافر استدراج — رسی ڈھیلی چھوڑی جا رہی ہے، حساب خاموشی سے جمع ہو رہا ہے مصائب میں مومن تطہیر، بلندی، گناہوں کا کفارہ — سزا نہیں نعمتوں میں مومن شکر گزاری آزمائش ہے؛ ناشکری اپنا استدراج لاتی ہے آخری حساب نیکی یا برائی کا ایک ذرہ بھی اللہ کے ریکارڈ سے نہیں بچتا

تاریخ بے ترتیب نہیں ہے۔ تباہی ناپی تلی ہے۔ بقا بامقصد ہے۔ تکلیف نتیجہ خیز ہے۔ ظالموں کی خوشحالی عارضی ہے اور مکمل طور پر ریکارڈ شدہ ہے۔ اور مومن کا گہرا ترین سکون یہ ہے:
“حساب رکھنے والا ایک ذرہ بھی نہیں بھولتا۔” عربی اردو رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ “اے ہمارے رب! ہمارے دلوں کو ہدایت دینے کے بعد ٹیڑھا نہ کر اور ہمیں اپنے پاس سے رحمت عطا فرما۔ بے شک تو بہت عطا کرنے والا ہے۔” (آل عمران ۳:۸)
