Morality sources: Divine vs humanity learned

Disbelievers points:

Morality isn’t something a god gave us or something we invented out of thin air.
It’s built into us.

Your body hates damage (pain).
Your brain hates seeing others in pain (empathy).( objection: if we don’t feel pain or appreciate loss then we won’t take actions)
Your group hates people who cause harm (laws and norms).

That’s the whole system from nerves all the way up to society.

We’re a social species. Reducing harm is how we stay alive together.( it took long time to realize harmful effects and is too late. People become addicted, lost lives)

Religion didn’t create this. It just borrowed it, wrapped it in supernatural language, and claimed ownership.( false: alcohol was banned by divine order at a time people didnot have scientific evidence of harmful effects on human body. Still practiced faithfully by adherents without need of manmade laws made after feeling pain and sufferings that too failed to enforce))
The machine runs on biology.

Persons doing drugs, selling drugs , manufacturing drugs begins with some small attractions like entertainment, slowly builds up to the current levels…. Countries slowly develop laws against them after realizing the harms to human body, dividing, financial system… still could not have full control and look at statist.
A divine order comes with few explanations to stop gradually the consumption.. within few years the whole system is dismay by those who were consumers, manufactured and sellers… do you know this happened in history ? It happened 1400 years ago and still majority respect that divine order. Divine orders are from THE ONE WHO CREATED ALL ,WHO HAS BEST INTEREST IN HIS CREATIONS.KNOWS ALL ASPECTS IN REGARDS TO THE HARMFUL EFFECTS OF THIS BAD DRUG. People who believe IN THIS ONLY CREATOR and keep practicing. There is no parallel to this example noted in laws made , evolved and practiced by human beings as they may not have full understandings, have interest groups involved, criminals become politicians ….

Some more comprehension by Ai

  • The post quotes a biological explanation of morality (pain avoidance, empathy, and social norms) and counters it by highlighting the failure of human laws to fully control drug production, sales, and use due to incomplete knowledge and conflicting interests.
  • It cites the Islamic prohibition of intoxicants established 1400 years ago as a superior “divine order” that rapidly reduced consumption among users, manufacturers, and sellers, with lasting respect among believers.
  • The argument positions the Creator’s laws as uniquely comprehensive, knowing all harmful effects on body, society, and economy, unlike evolving secular regulations that struggle with enforcement.
